We've recently received numerous reports that scammers are at it again, calling people from the VBSO’s Intake number, 757-385-4402, or another VBSO number, 757-385-4555, and also giving the names of real VBSO sworn personnel, and telling them there is a warrant out for their arrest unless they pay a fee to take care of the matter. They are also producing summonses that look real. We will NEVER call you and demand money over the phone for ANY REASON or text you a summons.

If you receive a call or text like this, HANG UP and DO NOT RESPOND! Do not give them any money or personal information.
